Union Pacific is putting finishing touches after concrete pours of its own to reinforce and refinish walls and passageways around the train viaduct. AT&T crews are also nearing completion of a new underground structure for communications technology. Once work concludes, new concrete will begin flowing north of the tracks along Oak Park Avenue. 2. Village helps Hemingway District storefronts with monthly window washing. Adding to the brightness of the new roadbed and sidewalks, businesses and shoppers will notice clean windows and awnings throughout the remaining months of construction. Monthly window washing will begin from North Blvd to Lake Street the week of Aug. 17, then from Pleasant to South Blvd the week of Aug. 24.
