The Village Board just approved the free parking time extension, in effect now through the end of construction in November.
Weather is cooperating, so separate crews will begin installing the new sewer main from Lake to Ontario and Randolph to Pleasant streets. Crews use precision pavement saws vs. messy jackhammering.
Tree removal begins Feb. 16 from Pleasant to Lake streets. Mature, invasive, and diseased/damaged trees that have outgrown their original ‘tree pits’ will be replaced by 40 new trees in the coming months. (More details next week!)
Watch for traffic sign adjustments in the coming weeks around Oak Park Avenue. We continue to monitor traffic patterns and adjust traffic control and directional signage to ensure maximum safety and better traffic flow.

If you have a ‘lock of love’ on the fence at the Oak Park Avenue train underpass, bring the key and unlock it before 10:30 am Saturday—before the locks and fencing are removed and relocated.
